Since the age of 11, Jaiden Hoa has trained in various genres of studio dance in Regina such as ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, acro, and musical theatre.
She specializes in hip hop, and other street styles, including jazz funk, afrobeat, waacking and more. Training under incredible street dance educators such as Senyo Akakpo, Suga Pop, Slim Boogie, Erik Perena, and more, she has growing an understanding of the history and fundamentals that hip hop is built upon. She is also involved in the street hip hop dance community, competing and participating in street battles across Canada as well as performing and teaching under Vibesyqr.
Jaiden is a second year student at the University of Regina studying Human Justice with a minor in French and Francophone Intercultural Studies. She is currently continuing her dance training as a Company member at Collective Studios and taking workshops across Canada at Pulse Studios, Harbor Dance, BSFlo, and others. Teaching and assisting dance classes for 6 years has developed her passion in watching kids grow and helping them succeed while having fun. She’s excited to share her love of dance with all of you!
