We believe that a good education in ballet can benefit dancers in all forms of dance at YBS. Our ballet program is based on a combination of methods and syllabi which curriculums are developmentally sound, and adaptable to various levels of ability.

We believe that a quality education in ballet can benefit dancers in all forms of dance offered at our school. Our ballet program is based on a combination of methods and syllabi, including the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus. The curriculum is developmentally sound, and adaptable to various levels of ability.

Requirements: Previous experience and students must maintain 2 ballet classes per week. New Students please contact the office for placement.

Dress Code

Option 1

Paradise Mondor leotard, Mondor Ballerina Pink (Color E6) tights, pale pink ballet slippers with split soles. Dancers in Intermediate Foundation have the option to wear a short, black ballet skirt. Hair must be worn in a bun.

Option 2

Plain white T-shirt, plain black shorts or black tights, black ballet slippers with elastics.

    Maintaining regular attendance is key to the success of a student's experience at Youth Ballet Saskatchewan.
  • Student Code of Conduct
    Youth Ballet of Saskatchewan is a safe and happy environment for learning dance. Teamwork is very important and dancers are expected to treat each other and their instructors with kindness and respect in and out of the studio.
  • Parent Guardian Code of Conduct
    Parents and Guardians have a vital role to play in the enjoyment and learning that their children experience during classes and the year–end recital at the Youth Ballet of Saskatchewan (Youth Ballet).
